January 26-February 1

Good Afternoon Bearcats!

Every semester has its seasons. The first couple of weeks of school in both August and in January are typically a period of 'settling back in to the rhythms of school. But it only takes a couple of weeks (and especially so at the mid-year point) before the pace of school life really picks back up.

For us in the main office it feels like the campus is just buzzing with activity and I would imagine that is felt at home as well: Winter sports are deep into their seasons, every class has moved into new material (with unit tests probably looming), and it seems like every club is up and running with some event or program. All of this is what makes high school such a rich experience but I know as a parent it can feel pretty exhausting. Thank you, parents, for all you do in support of our Bearcats and please, stay involved. That is the best way to slow these four years down, because they do, indeed, go by so quickly.

Have a great week everyone.

Interim Principal

Reminders

Late Orders for AP Testing

The final deadline to order an AP exam for this year is February 14th, which will include a $40 late fee. After that, we will no longer be accepting any more orders for 2026, even with a late fee.

Also, any student who wants to use any accommodations in their AP testing, that are part of their IEP or 504 plan, they need to email Mr. Godsey (msgodsey@pasoschools.org) immediately, if they have not already done so. This process to set up accommodations on the AP tests can take several months, and therefore we need to start as soon as possible.

If you have any questions or concerns whatsoever, feel free to email Assistant Principal Michael Godsey msgodsey@pasoschools.org
